Unpopular opinion: From my experience the thing with most Indiehacker businesses is that they are not really a business. There’s a login page yes, and it does let you log in. But, that’s where it ends. Onboarding is not existing, there’s nobody responding to your support ticket or it takes multiple days and just in general it’s just unreliable. As someone running my own business I want to use a tool that actually works and doesn’t make think I just lost an entire hour trying to make this work. Sadly that happens more often than you’d think. Indies seem to confuse an MVP with an MLP. You want to build a Minimal Loveable Product.

Of course your initial first version will not be great but you need to provide enough “character” for someone to “forgive you” and stick around. They have to believe in the fact that you are constantly improving and polishing it. I 100% get why more and more people are opposed to use an Indie tool which is extremely unfortunate. Hopefully more people will realize this and there’s some change!
